Monterosso al mare, is the largest of all the 5 Terre, and has the most amenities. It is  also the ideal starting point for all your excursions.
 
All the seasons of the year you can start the path that connects Monterosso with all the other villages of the coastline, to the  Sanctuaries of our hillsides, and  to our charming inland  villages. Don’t forget thanks to the beautiful beach of Monterosso, you can enjoy a vacation only on the seaside if you like.
 
Our village is also a good starting  point in which you can depart by train or boat to connect with  all the other villages of the Cinque Terre and to Portovenere.
There is regular service by boat departing at the small  port in the old part of the village, or as an alternative there is convenient and frequent  train service all  day..
During your vacation in Monterosso no need to worry about your car, you can safely leave it in our parking lot available to our guests.
Monterosso is not just an ideal  spot to reach the immediate surroundings  but you can easily organize excursions for La Spezia, Carrara, Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Portofino, Genoa, la riviera dei fiori, or end up in Varese Ligure known for having a typical “borgo rotundo”- an ancient oval city center of Liguria, and also known for it’s organic products.
